Wash with Care
Our laundry program has been extensively tested and approved by the industry, ensuring that the products will last longer than the contacts. However, we recommend that you only wash your clothes when necessary to reduce the impact on the environment. Our products are certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and do not contain any harmful substances. In fact, there’s no need to wash your clothes before the first use.
Shell clothing with a membrane should be washed at least once every six months to prevent dirt and sweat from clogging the membrane’s pores, preserving its technical properties.
When washing your clothes, always follow the instructions on the label, and be sure to close zippers, buttons, and Velcro straps to minimize wear and extend the life of your outerwear.
Hang the clothes to dry
After washing, hang your clothes to dry and air them out between uses to prevent moisture build-up, which can shorten the lifespan of your outerwear. For shell clothing with a membrane, it’s important to heat it after washing to maintain its function. You can use a dryer or iron to do this.
Choose and Eco-friendly impregnation
Our outerwear is impregnated with BIONIC-FINISH® ECO, which can withstand up to 20 washes before requiring reapplication. To reactivate the impregnation, simply heat the clothing in a heating cabinet or tumbler. If you wish to impregnate the clothes again, we recommend using an environmentally friendly product that does not contain fluorine.
Combat Textile Waste
Combat textile waste by repairing your clothing where possible and recycling worn-out clothes. The production of clothing is a major environmental and climate issue, so every small step helps to make a difference.
